Rain in Chennai for the next 2 days due to weather systems in Bay

According to the forecast made by the meteorological department, for the next 2 days in Chennai days are expected to be warm and there is a likelihood of light to moderate rains. The condition of the sky is likely to be generally cloudy and some areas in Chennai are likely to experience light to moderate rains.

The maximum temperature was brought down to 33.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday in Chennai and it was because of light drizzle. It is now said that the days would be cloudy and the temperature is likely to remain low.

It has been predicted by the meteorological department that on Thursday the maximum temperature is likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius. It was pointed out by Skymet that cyclones might form in the Bay of Bengal close to the Andaman Sea or the Arabian Sea. It takes at least a month for the southwest monsoon to withdraw is known.

The local weather systems could form and it might or might not bring rains. According to Skymet, there is also possibility that remnants of weather system in south-east Asia might enter the Andaman Sea and intensify.
