The Chennai Police Commissioner A. K. Viswanathan has released an order transferring 28 inspectors in the Chennai Metro City. The details:

- Pandi, in the waiting list, is transferred to Madippakkam crime branch.
- Saravanan, waiting list is transferred to New Washermanpet Law and Order.
- Kandavel, waiting list is transferred to Central Crime Branch.
- Menaka, waiting list is transferred to Central Crime Branch.
- Mahalakshmi, waiting list is transferred to the Central Crime Branch.
- Chamundeeswari, waiting list is transferred to Pazhavanthangal Crime Branch.
- Amudha, waiting list is transferred to Kilpauk All-Women Police Station.
