When we smile the first thing others see is our teeth. Hence it is important that we must keep our teeth white. People try various things to make their teeth look white in colour and when they don’t get the desired result they get disappointed.  

It is sensational to note that in the year 2015 Americans spent over 11 billion USD for teeth whitening. The chemicals present in many whitening products for teeth bleaching is a cause for worry is known. So people could opt for other ways to whiten their teeth.

Various ways for teeth whitening are

By strawberry juice:
The strawberry juice is reddish in colour is well known. It is said that strawberries could be used as natural teeth whitener. Studies have shown that strawberry juice could make the teeth become white when the teeth get stained by coffee intake. The presence of malic acid in strawberry whitens the teeth.

By eating cheese:
Do you know that by eating cheese it is possible to make our teeth white? It is believed that the natural minerals in cheese could provide strength to the enamel. Presence of calcium in cheese plays an important role here. Point is hard cheese like cheddar cheese could be effective in teeth whitening.

By practicing good oral hygiene:
Many of us do not brush our teeth before going to bed. It must be noted that the teeth get spoilt due to various foods or drinks we consume during the day. Brushing teeth both during day as well as in the night is important to make the teeth look white. Proper technique in brushing is also very important. Flossing and mouthwash must be done.

By using baking soda toothpastes:
This is also one important way by which we could make our teeth look white. It must be noted that baking soda is has got natural whitening properties and hence is used as ingredient in toothpastes. So it is better that we use baking soda based tooth paste than the silica based tooth paste. The stains that are present on the teeth could be removed by mixing baking soda with water or applying it directly on teeth by using tooth brush.
