Reservation tickets for Pongal travel-filled within 5 minutes!!

The reservations for Pongal festival travel for the trains from Chennai to Madurai, Thirunelveli, and Trichy got filled just within 5 minutes of the start of the reservation! This has shocked and disappointed a large number of people who plan a trip!
The train reservation booking for the passengers planning to travel to their native places for the important occasion of Pongal commenced today (Thursday, 12th September).
Train booking can be done from today until 21st September.
The passengers planning to travel on 10th January can book reservation today (12th September).
Those who plan to travel on 11th January can reserve tomorrow (12th September). Those who plan travel on 12th January can reserve on 14th September. Those planning to travel on 13th January can reserve on 15th September.
The bookings for the return journey to Chennai after the celebration of Pongal are scheduled to commence on 17th September.
With the train reservation booking starting at 8.00 AM, the train tickets from Chennai to Madurai, Thirunelveli, and Trichy got filled up within 5 minutes!
The balance long line of people had to return with great disappointment.
As this has been a regular experience over the last several years, a great number of passengers have demanded that additional special trains must be operated.
