Election Commission New plans on Voters List

The election Commission has informed that a new facility for the voters to make online corrections in the data will be available from 1st September.
Tamil Nadu Chief Election Officer, Satyaprada Sahu, conducted a meeting with the selected representatives of different political parties in this regard.
After the meeting, he sahred information with the press:
�The Election Commission is set to execute the verification of details in the voters� list from 1st September to 30th September. With this pan, the Election Commission is also set to introduce an exclusive new App �NVSP� � with this App, the voters will have the facility to correct the particulars (Name, Address, Date of Birth, Photograph, etc.) in the list online!
The interested voter can enter the Voter�s ID number in the App or the internet and enter the details of the list and make the required corrections. After making the corrections, these have to be uploaded. Any one of the copies of Driver�s Licence, Aadhar card, Ration Card ID, or PAN can be uploaded.
The poll booth officers will monitor and confirm the corrected data as above. Then the corrections will be accordingly carried out in the votes list. This facility/system will be available from 1st September to 30th September.
The final voters� list is set to be released on 15th October. If required, the voters can inform about the corrections made/required before 30th November. In case some more corrections are to be made, they would be allowed to do the same.
Following the above special plan/project to carry out the corrections on the voters� list, and the release of the final voters� list, special camps will be conducted for 4 days � on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 11th November.
The polling booths to conduct these special camps have already been identified. The Tamil Nadu Chief Election Officer informed that the very final corrected voters� list is scheduled to be released during January.
Time schedules
1. Verification of voters� list � 1st to 30th September
2. Release of Draft Final Voters� list � 15th October
3. Period to receive correction requests � 15th October to 30th November
4. Dates for the special camps � 2nd, 3rd, 8th, and 11th November.
