TVS to tie-up with BMW?

TVS shares have gone up by 3.9% on Monday morning. The increase comes in expectation of a press conference to be held on Monday. The company is expected to announce a tie up with BMW Motorrad, which is the motorcycle division of BMW AG of Germany. TVS Motor Co. Ltd. is the fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer in India.
According to sources, BMW will share high end technology with TVS. The move will give TVS’s competitors a run for their money. The leading manufacturers in India are Hero Motocorp Ltd. and Bajaj Auto Ltd. The premium segment in India also has Japan’s Honda Motor Co. As one of its key players.
