Thiru Aadip Pooram Festival in Thiruvannamalai temple

The sacred �Thiru Aadip Pooram festival� commenced in the famous Lord �Arul Migu� Arunachaleswarar Temple with His Consort Goddess Unnamulai Amman commenced on Tuesday, 25th July.
The function of �Theerthavari and Valaikappu� were performed on the deity of the Goddess Unnmulai Amman on 3rd August.
The special Abhishekham was performed at midnight on 3rd August. The deity was especially adorned for the occasion and �Mangalya Dharanam� was performed.
A grand �Fire-walking� ceremony was performed after the Deeparadhanai for the Goddess Unnamulai Amman.
