For the devotees at Kanchi temple, Aavin to supply butter milk

Devarajaswamy temple in Kancheepuram near Chennai has been making sensational news in the recent times for the Athi-Varadar festival in that temple is known. Many devotees have been visiting this temple for this Athi Varadar festival.  It is now revealed that starting from Friday Aavin would be supplying buttermilk for the devotees visiting this amazing temple for the Athi Varadar festival.

Information is 2000 litres of butter milk would be distributed to the devotees and this would be catering to 10,000 to 12,000 persons. Based on the demand, the quantity of buttermilk supplied would be increased.

It was mentioned by Mr. C. Kamaraj, managing director of Aavin that the buttermilk would be distributed for free for the devotees as a service. This free distribution would be carried out till the last day of the Athi Varadar festival. Buttermilk would be taken in the chillers and would be given to the devotees in the cups. Mr. Kamaraj finally spoke about how to avoid plastics, packing the buttermilk in pouches would not be there.

It should be taken into account that curd would be made at the TN Cooperative Milk Producers Federations Kakalur dairy located at Tiruvallur near Chennai. Curd would be made into buttermilk with safe tested water, salt, ginger, chillies, curry leaves etc and would be given to the devotees at padhinaar kaal mandapam. 

To sell ice creams in Kancheepuram town at crowded places, Aavin would mobilise 3 vans. It must be noted that there were complaints from the devotees that they were not able to get enough food.
