TNPSC Group-1 Main Written Examination commenced

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is the state government authority for the recruitment of different staff employees in the various state government departments as vacancies and needs arise.
TNPSC’s Group-1 Category main written examinations commenced today (Friday, 12th July) and will continue for 2 more days.
Group-1 category Main written examinations for the integrated civil services are being conducted for 3 days starting from today (12th July) and continues on 13th and 14th July in Chennai in 95 examination centres from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
Invigilation and supervisors are deployed in each examination centre. The arrangement restricts on 10 candidates in each examination hall.
A total of 95 Chief Supervisors ( 1 each for the 95 examination centres) and 945 room supervisors (1 room supervisor for each hall of 10 candidates) are deployed for this.
15 flying squads have been set up to monitor all the examination centres.
For the 1st time ever, in this examination, ‘Jammer’ devices which block signals/information from outside cell phones, etc., have been set up in all examination centres!
