All colleges to open on Wednesday

Tamil Nadu Government has informed all colleges to reopen on Wednesday. The news comes almost 15 days after colleges were closed indefinitely following the students’ hunger strike in the Sri Lankan issue. Colleges were expected to open on Monday, and some of the colleges did.
Anna University sent out a circular to self-financing engineering colleges that stated, ‘The vice-chancellor after having discussions with the government of Tamil Nadu, has decided to reopen undergraduate and postgraduate classes of all engineering colleges in the state on April 3.’ The colleges include Madras Institute of Technology, AC Tech, Guindy College of Engineering and School of Architecture and Planning.
