The awareness on the quality of education in Russia and the subsidized programmes for the Indian students would be brought to light soon. The good news now is on 8th June and on 9th June 2019 Russian institutions offering medical and engineering courses would come together at the Russian Education Fair at the Chennai based Russian Centre for Science and Culture. This fair would be organised by the Centre in association with the Study Abroad.
Mr. C. Ravichandran, managing director, Study Abroad Educational Consultants spoke his heart out. He revealed that in this year the number of seats for the students who wants to study in the English medium has been increased from 3000 to 5000. More students from India would be interested to do medicine and the increase in the number of seats would help these students.
For pursuing medicine in both India and in abroad, NEET has been made compulsory now by the Medical Council of India or MCI. It is now said that once NEET results are out the students would come forward and look out for options in Russia. Currently, Russia has got as many as 15000 students from India and from the consulate in south India as many as 1800 student visas were issued in the past year.
The representatives from the consulate shed light on how this year the number of student visas would increase. The important information is this educational fair would take place between 10 am to 5 pm on 8th and 9th June at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai.
