The Supreme Court has given the verdict that it will not be possible to remove the ban on the App Tik Tok imposed by the Chennai High Court. As ordered to the central government.

In the mobile App Tik Tok, several people send video clips of dancing for film songs! There was a complaint that they wear obscene costumes and the dance is full of obscene body movements!

A public petition was put up in the Chennai High Court to ban the App Tik Tok. When the enquiry was taken up, the Chennai High Court judges ordered the central government to ban the App Tik Tok.

However, on behalf of the Chinese Company Byte Dance, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court to cancel the ban order given by the Chennai High Court.  The enquiry came up yesterday (Monday, 15th April) before the bench of judges headed by Judge Ranjan Gogoi.  The senior advocate, Abhishekh Manu, argued on behalf of the petitioner. He argued that there was not even a notice sent to the company which operated the hugely popular App Tik Tok while the order to ban was given.  So, this ban order must be withdrawn.`

Subsequently, the verdict given by the bench of Judges ordered: The Chennai High Court has placed only an interim ban on the App Tik Tok. The enquiry is not completed yet! The case is being taken up today for enquiry (Tuesday, 16th April). So, it is not possible to cancel the ban order given by the Chennai High Court. They adjourned the case to 22nd April.`
