The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of the temperature shooting up from 102 Degrees to 105 Degrees today (Thursday, 28th March) in a few places in interior Tamil Nadu.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard:
‘A dry climate will prevail on Thursday (today) in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of the temperature shooting up from 102 Degrees to 105 Degrees today (Thursday, 28th March) in a few places in interior Tamil Nadu.
Especially, there are very strong prospects o the temperature shooting up above normal in a few places in the districts of Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.
The Chennai Metro City will be partly cloudy in the morning session. A maximum temperature 95 Degrees may be recorded.’
On Wednesday (yesterday, 27th March) the temperature crossed the ‘100 Degrees’ mark in 9 places in Tamil Nadu! A maximum temperature of 102 Degrees was recorded at Karur Paramathi and Tiruthani. Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Salem, and Vellore recorded 101 Degrees. Coimbatore Airport, Madurai Airport, and Trichy recorded 100 Degrees.
