The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of temperature shooting up by 2 to 3 Degrees Celsius in a few places in the interior Tamil Nadu today (Wednesday, 28th March).
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard:
A dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of temperature shooting up by 2 to 3 Degrees Celsius in a few places in interior Tamil Nadu. Especially, the temperature is likely to shoot up above normal in the districts of Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.
The Chennai Metro City will remain partly cloudy. A maximum temperature of 95 Degrees Fahrenheit will be recorded.
The temperature crossed the 100 mark in 5 places yesterday (Tuesday, 26th March). A maximum temperature of 102 Degrees was recorded in Salem. The temperature in Degrees recorded in other places Dharmapuri and Tiruthani 101, Karur Paramathi and Madurai Airport 100, Vellore and Trichy 99.
