The temperature may go up by 2-3 Degrees in Tamil Nadu today

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of the temperature going up by 2 to 3 Degrees Celsius as compared to normal in a few places in the interior Tamil Nadu.

An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard:

‘A dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Monday (25th March). There are prospects of an increase in temperature by 2 to 3 Degrees Celsius as compared to normal in a few places in the interior Tamil Nadu. The prospects of temperature going up is especially stronger in the districts of Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.

The Chennai Metro City will be partly cloudy in the morning session. There are prospects of a maximum of 95 Degrees been recorded.’

It was a  scorching summer on Sunday (yesterday, 24th March) in several places in Tamil Nadu. Especially, the temperature crossed the 100 Degrees mark in 7 places! A maximum temperature of 103 Degrees was recorded at Madurai Airport and Salem. Tiruthani recorded 102 Degrees. Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, and Vellore recorded 101 Degrees. Palayamkottai recorded 100 Degrees.
