In the recent few days the temperature has become little hot in Chennai is known. It is now revealed that the in the coming days the suburbs in the city of Chennai would get hotter than the other areas of Chennai that are close to the sea. The searing heat wave has hit the interior parts of the state of TN and this is because of the delay in the sea breeze reaching the interior places of TN. On Sunday, 24th March 2019, the maximum temperature that was recorded was 34.4 degree Celsius in Nungambakkam in Chennai.

The condition of the sky would be cloudy partly in the morning time and thereafter would improve. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be 34 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively. Chennai based Mr. Pradeep John is a popular weather blogger. According to him it is now clear that outer areas like Porur, Poonamallee, Ambattur and Avadi would sizzle. This is due to the fact that sea breeze would take time to reach these mentioned places in Chennai. The sea breeze would reach other places of Chennai like Mylapore, Egmore, Nungambakkam and Sholinganallur etc much faster.

It has been predicted by the meteorological department that the maximum temperature would be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Madurai and Dindigul etc. The important information collected is the in these above mentioned places in TN temperatures were in the range of 38 to 39.7 degree Celsius on Sunday.

Mr. Pradeep John then pointed out that almost all places in the interior districts on TN would have temperature close to 39-40 degrees in the coming days. He added that offshore winds would become strong in the coming days and many places in TN would record temperatures over 40 Degree Celsius. The fact is in the coming week coastal belt might not be so hot but other areas in TN might be very hot.

It must be taken into account that the maximum temperatures touched close to 35 Celsius at around 12:30 pm and around 1:30 pm on Sunday. On Saturday around the same time the maximum temperatures remained around 34 Celsius. The presence of sea breeze made the temperatures not to increase above 35 degree Celsius. The information gathered is the temperatures would increase gradually in the next month and it would be due to the impact of heat wave in the interior parts of the state of Tamil Nadu.
