Africavil Vadivelu

Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu after a long hiatus is making his reentry in a Tamil film Africavil Vadivelu. The story of the film is written by Dr Gayathri who wrote the biography of Superstar Rajinikanth. The film is to be directed by K.S.Ravikumar.
During the last TN Assembly elections Vadivelu campaigned for the DMK throughout the State. Though many enjoyed the way the actor spoke in the meetings, the DMK party could not come to power. Since then Vadivelu has lost the opportunity to act in films. No producer or the director came forward to give the comedian a chance in their films.
But acting in comedy role is the very breath of Vadivelu, but offer to act in films turned out to be remote. Vadivelu wanted to make his reentry by producing the second part of Imsai Arasan 23-M Pulikesi. Vadivelu worked out the budget for the film with Director Simbhu Thevan. Both felt that it was not feasible to produce the film.
In such a situation Dr Gayathri who wrote the story Africavil Vadivelu for the comedian took it to Director K.S.Ravikumar who okayed the story. Ravi Kumar also informed Vadivelu to start the work of the film.
