Sivarathiri celebrations at Skandasramam, East Tambaram

Poojas for Sivarathiri which falls on March 10 will be celebrated at the Chennai Om Sri Skan dasramam, East Tambaram. The poojas for the occasion will start at 7.30 pm. The celebration culminates the next day with a special puja at 5 am for Lord Maha Sahasra Linga Murthy, Lord Sri Maha Nandi and Sri Chakra Purna Maha Meru. A special pooja in Sri Thulaseeswarar Baktha Jana Sabha to be organised on March 10 from 7 pm. The temple Sri Thulaseeswarar Koil is situated on East Tambaram. The poojas start with performing abhishekams to Lord Vinayaka and Murugan at 9.30 pm. For Maha Vishnu of the temple at 1 am and for Brahma at 4.30 am. For details contact: 9444022133.
