Pondy milk producers’ conference

The State Conference of Puducherry Milk Producers’ Union will be held on March 9th. This will be the first one of its kind in Puducherry. T.Geethanathan, President, Puducherry Agriculturists’ Association, said that the ket points of discussions will be enhancing the procurement price of milk to Rs. 25 per litre, streamlining the Pondicherry Cooperative Milk Society (Pontle) and passing a provision of cattle fodder with 75% subsidy.
The conference will be inaugurated by Agriculture Minister M. Chandragasu.
