TESO announces general strike on 12th March

The Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation (TESO) has announced a general strike on March 12th from 6.00am to 6.00pm to show support to the US-led UN resolution against Sri Lanka for war crimes during the Civil War against LTTE.
The TESO has DMK backing. DMK chief M. Karunanidhi stressed the importance of India’s support to the Resolution that will come up in front of the UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council). ‘The Indian government should look at this united voice and come forward to facilitate Sri Lankan Tamils to live’, he said.
