Vasantha Maaligai with DTS format in 100 theaters

The most successful and box-office hit film Vasantha Maaligai is being released throughout the State after 41 years of its release. This film is now converted into DTS format with cinemascope technique, will soon be released in more than 100 theaters. When the film was first released in the year 1972 it ran housefull in 13 cinema halls for more than 100 days and 175 days in three theaters. The film had also made a record collection.
Sivaji Ganesan, Vanisri and many other leading artistes had acted in the film which was produced by D.Rama Naidu and directed by K.S.Prakash Rao.
Studying the trend of Karnan which ran success in several theaters after its digitilaisation, it is hoped that Vasantha Maaligai would also make a record collection.
