Prospects of heavy rains in 11 districts in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are strong prospects of heavy rains in 11 districts in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The centre had announced that there are prospects of widespread rains for 24 hours in the Northern Tamil Nadu and in a few places in the southern Tamil Nadu. It was also informed that there are prospects of heavy rains in the districts of Villupuram, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Namakkal, Nilgiri, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Erode, Karur, and Vellore.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has also informed that there are prospects of heavy rains in Puducherry. As regards the Chennai Metro City, there are prospects of intermittent medium rains.
