Depression to cross Chennai to Pondy coast today, Its turning out to be a KTC special now - Chennai is in for very heavy rains today along with Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram today to tomorrow morning. It will be windy too in Chennai

The big cloud mass parked outside Chennai has started to move into land as the Depression is most likely to cross NTN coast today. Enjoy the steady rains now it will get heavy at times and even very heavy at times too.
Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Pondy, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai and Vellore will all get rains today and tomorrow. South Chennai and Kancheepuram might see very very heavy rains and extreme rains too.
Cuddalore district might miss out of rains
