Vijaykanth suffers severe blow on his head

DMDK leader and film actor Vijayakanth who came to Thanjavur on Wednesday to attend contempt of court case filed against him received severe blow on his head from one of his own party MLA.
According to the eye witnesses, the DMDK leader who was in the Court in the morning was surrounded by a group of party men. A DMDK MLA who was trying to drive all the party men out from surrounding Captain pulled some people to make DMDK leader come out.
When some party members had not yielded to the requests of the MLA, in course of time the DMDK MLA started beating some of the party men, in which the actor-politician-leader Vijaykanth also received severe resounding hit on his head, sources said.
But Vijaykanth did not protest the MLA though he received severe blow from him. Captain’s pair of glasses was about to fall but the DMDK leader somehow managed it.
At last, Vijaykanth went inside the court, but the MLA who created a flutter in the crowd a few hours ago, could not be seen, said the sources.
