More amma unavagam to come up crowded hubs

Chennai Corporation`s Amma Unavagam, functioning in several parts of the city to cater to the needs of the poor people in solving their appetite with lower price tariff, will be started at city`s important hubs.
The Corporation of Chennai has asked to find out good locales to start some more Unavagams in city`s main hubs like Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital, Central Station and other important places like CMBT, where a lot of people make frequent visits not only from the city but also from other parts of the states. But, for starting up Amma Unavagams at important places in the city, the prices of eatables may be relatively higher, however it would be cheaper when compared to other hotels, it is said.
It is to be noted that an average of 3000 persons visit the GH every day and several lakhs of people visit the Central and Egmore Railway Stations.
