Indian fishermen attacked by Lankan navy

Indian fishermen were allegedly harassed by the Sri Lankan Navy on Tuesday. According to reports, the group of fishermen, on 20 boats, were attacked by Navy personnel with steel pipes and ropes.
The nets and the communication equipment of the Indians were extensively damaged.
The incident took place in Katchatheevu which is an islet in Palk Strait.
