Prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu

Due to the cyclonic format developing on the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Bay of Bengal, there are prospects of rain with thunder in the next few days in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials informed in this regard that there is a conducive climate/environment for the onset of Northeast monsoon rainy season on 26th October.
Presently, there is a cyclonic format prevailing over the zone near Sri Lanka. Due to this, there are prospects of medium rain or rain with thunder in the next few days in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro City will remain partly cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain in a few places.
