STC employees seek their pension benefits

Over 45,000 State Transport Corporation employees appealed to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. J. Jayalalitha to speed up their pension benefits.
‘It has been over 18 months since I retired from service but I am not able to get my commutation of pension. Despite several attempts and repeated visits to the MTC office, the amount has not been settled. Jayalalithaa, who had kindly assisted STC by allocating funds to settle arrears, should help us too’, said a pensioner.
