Running bus catches fire in Vepery

In a freak incident a running bus caught fire on EVK Sampath Salai near the Vepery police station. MTC bus 7F (Anna Nagar West to Broadway), which had 20 passengers on board, began billowing smoke around 3pm. There were no casualties.
Firemen from a nearby unit responded quickly and extinguished the flames.
