14847 Property registrations in a single day

Yesterday, Monday, 20th August, was the 1st working day after the start of the Tamil calendar month of Avani. On this single day, the Department of Property Registration has reported that 14847 properly documents were registered.
During the last 4 weeks or so, with the Tamil calendar month of Aadi in progress, the property registration was somewhat at a very low level (as it is not considered auspicious for good events in the Tamil month of Aadi) and the number of property registrations was far less than usual.
However, the Tamil calendar month of Avani started on 17th August. However, it was a public holiday on that day. So, no registrations were done. Subsequently, Saturday and Sunday holidays followed.
Thus, the 1st working day of the Tamil month of Avani was yesterday, 20th August. A large number of the public came for property registration on this day. A maximum number of property registrations, 14847 were carried out on this single day. In Madurai Zone, a maximum number of 2663 property registrations were carried out on a single day.
As some computer server problem was reported in Thanjavur, only 803 property registrations were carried out in Thanjavur zone. It is also reported that due to the computer server problem in several other places as well, the number of property registrations was somewhat lesser.
