Prospects of rain in few places in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours due to the phenomenon of thermal convection.
Fishermen, in the coastal areas of northwest and central Bay of Bengal and Andaman Nicobar, are strictly warned not to venture into the sea. This is mainly because the there is turbulent in the sea in these areas.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rains in 1 or 2 places during the evening or the night sessions
