Man helps disabled girl, loses chain

K.L. Gopalakrishnan didn’t realize that his good deed for the day would relieve him of a gold chain. On his way home from work on Tuesday night, the Bangalorean gave a lift to a girl who seemed to be disabled.
According to reports, she kept falling on him and asked him to take to a hotel. She was dropped off when he refused. Mr. Gopalakrishnan soon found that he was missing a chain but could not find her.
‘We are trying to see whether the accused girl’s image has been captured by the traffic police surveillance cameras at Richmond Circle. This is the only hope to identify the accused. The victim too has given the description of the girl’, say the police.
