DMK MLA’s suspended from Assembly

The Sri Lankan Tamil issue was the cause of suspension of DMK MLA’s from the Tamil Nadu Assembly for the remaining time of the session.
The MLAs protested Mr. K.P. Munusamy’s remarks that the DMK regime and the UPA were the cause of the plight of Sri Lankan Tamils today. Mr. Munusamy is Local Administration Minister. The DMK MLA’s stood next to the chair and allegedly used objectionable language, leading to the Speaker suspending them for the rest of the session.
