Counselling for admission to veterinary courses commences today (24th July)

The counselling sessions for the candidates who have applied for admission to the veterinary courses is scheduled to commence today (Tuesday, 24th July).
There are 460 seats available for courses of cattle husbandry and maintenance and B. Tech. in the colleges functioning under the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
The counselling for admission to the above seats is scheduled to be conducted from today (24th July) at Chennai Vepery Veterinary medical college.
12000 candidates have qualified for participating in the counselling sessions. The counselling today will be for the special category and industrial technology group candidates. The counselling for the common open cadre is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow (25th July) and the day-after (26th July).
The admissions are offered based on the marks obtained in the +2 Public Examination.
