Catholic Conference in Velankanni

It has been reported that Pope Benedict XVI will send Cardinal Ferdinand Feloni as his emissary to consecrate the Morning Star Church at Velankanni as part of the Latin Rite Catholic Bishops conference here.
The 5 day conference, which began on the 6th of Feb., will see more than 170 bishops from around the world. The speakers will discuss the changing scenery of the worlds’ society, religion and politics.
