Dalai Lama not be part of Kumbh

The Dalai Lama will not pay a visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela this year. The visit, which was to be on Feb. 5th, did not get security clearance till the 4th.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mr. Mohit Agrawal, ‘We have received information that the Dalai Lama is pre-occupied until February 15 and, if at all, he chooses to visit the Maha Kumbh it would be only after that.’
