Get JioPhone for just Rs 501. Here is how

Here is Monsoon Hungama from Reliance Jio. This is an exchange offer where customers can grab a JioPhone at price as low as Rs 501. For this, they can get any of their old phone of any random brand and get a new JioPhone in exchange for the price Rs 501, says a latest press release. This offer can be availed at any retail point for exchange of 2g, 3g or 4g phones. Furthermore, the expense of Rs 501 will also be refundable and will only be a security deposit which the user can claim after 3 years, the release adds.
Jio Monsoon Hungama
It is important that the old phone is in a working condition. It should be given along with its charger. At the time of JioPhone purchase, the old phone has to be handed over. Note that phones that are purchased on or after 1st January 2015 are only eligible for this exchange offer. Jio customers who have recently purchased Jio SIM card with a JioPhone can also have their existing number retained by making use of Mobile Number Portability.
Special recharge plan
Under this offer, Jio provides a special recharge plan where users can make unlimited voice calls, and get 6-months of free data for just Rs 594 for one-time activation. In addition, for the JioPhone users, there are special offers including 6GB worth data voucher for Monsoon Hungama users. This will add up to a complete sum of 90GB for a period of 6 months.
At present, there are 2 JioPhone plans which are priced Rs 49 and Rs 153 respectively. The Rs 49 plan is a trial one that provides 1GB of monthly data and the Rs 153 plan offers Rs 1.5 GB per day. A few users prefer to get lesser data and hence choose low price data plan. We have Rs 99 plan comprising unlimited voice calls, 0.5 GB data in a day, 300 free SMS for a period of 28 days.
