Woman relieved of jewelry

A gang of three relieved a woman of her jewelry as she walked out of a bank on Wednesday.
A 50-year old woman was approached by ‘plain clothed policemen’ as she came out of her bank in Choolaimedu with almost 16 sovereigns of gold jewelry. They told her that it was unsafe to walk around like that and offered her a piece of paper to wrap the jewelry in.
The woman reached home to find that the paper contained stones and that her jewelry was missing. The police are on the lookout for the thieves.
