The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has resumed the free Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara for the senior citizens and parents of infants from this month at the Tirupathi temple.

TTD has been offering free Darshan twice a month for the senior citizens and the parents of infants. However, during the months of May and June, the crowd of devotees will be very high because of the summer holidays. So, TTD cancelled this bi-monthly free Darshan during these 2 months.

In this situation, with the summer vacation being over, the strength of devotees has come down reasonably and hence, TTD has resumed the bimonthly free Darshan for the senior citizens and the parents of infants.

Accordingly, on 10th and 24th July, free Darshan will be offered to the senior citizens and differently-abled. 1000 devotees will be allowed at 10.00 AM and 2000 devotees will be allowed at 2.00 PM. Another 1000 devotees will be allowed by 3.00 PM.  Thus, a total of 8000 devotees of this special category will have a free Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara on these 2 days.

Further, there is a plan to offer Darshan of the Lord to the parents of the children aged less than 5 years of age on 11th and 25th July from 9.00 AM to 1.30 PM.

TTD officials requested that the devotees must avail these opportunities to the maximum extent.
