Merit list for admission/counselling to engineering courses released

The Tamil Nadu state minister for higher education, Anbazhagan, released the rank or merit list of the candidates for counselling/admission to the engineering courses offered by Anna University. He informed that the applications were received online from 3rd May.
A total of 159631 applications were received. Out of this, 5397 applications were rejected. The number of candidates who qualified for counselling is 104453.
As for the cut-off mark, 10 candidates have scored 200 out of 200.
It is gathered that the counselling for medical courses is scheduled from 1st July. Once the counselling for the medical courses gets completed, the counselling for admission to the engineering courses will commence.
