Merit/rank list for engineering counselling to be released tomorrow (28th June)

The rank or merit list for the counselling for admission to the engineering courses will be released tomorrow (Thursday, 28th June). 1.08 Lakhs candidates will be given their individual ranks based on the marks obtained in the +2 public examinations.
For admission to the engineering colleges functioning affiliated with Anna University, the counselling for student admission is conducted by Anna University. Online counselling has commenced this year and will continue. Online counselling is scheduled to be conducted from the 1st week of July.
1.08 Lakh candidates have qualified for the counselling session after the completion of certificate/document verification. The rank or merit place is given to the candidate based on the marks obtained in the +2 public examinations and on the caste. The merit list is scheduled to be released at 8.00 AM tomorrow (Thursday, 28th June).
In an event organized by the Anna University, the state minister for Higher education, K. Anbazhagan, releases the merit or rank list.
Further, the details of the dates for counselling and the dates for the selection of the preferred faculty will also be released tomorrow.
