Announcement for TNPSC Group-2 exams before end June

The Secretary of the TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission), K. Nandhakumar, informed that the TNPSC will release the announcement for the Group-2 written examinations before the end of June.
As per the earlier time-schedule announced by TNPSC, the announcement for Forest Apprentice was to be announced during the 3rd week of March. The announcement for the Fishery Analysts and Assistant Analysts was to be announced during the 2nd week of April. The announcement regarding Group 2 examinations was to be released during the 1st week of May.
However, all the above announcements have not been made yet. The eagerly awaiting students/youngsters are highly disappointed by this. When enquiring about this to the TNPSC Secretary, K. Nandhakumar, he informed that the announcement for Forest Apprentice will be released in a day or 2. Subsequently, separate announcements will be released for the posts of Fishery Analysts and Assistant Analysts. The announcement for Group-2 examinations would be released before end June.
As far as Group-2 examinations are concerned, the details regarding the vacancies from several government departments are yet to be received by TNPSC. The present mode of conducting the Group-2 examination will be continued for the next Group-2 examination as well. There are no changes. Presently, there are 2 examinations for Group-2 – the preliminary test and the Main Test.
