MBBS and BDS applications are sold from today

To the prior announcement of the application form sales on June 11, the distribution was started already in the direct counter sale and also through internet download facility. People can go to the site, tnmedicalselection.org or tnhealth.org, to download their application forms for MBBS and BDS courses. The official deadline for the sales of the application forms is fixed as June 18, till 5 P.M.
The application forms that are filled must be submitted on or before June 19 said the official report from the Directorate of Medical Examinations (DME).
Those who are applying for the government medical colleges must take a demand draft of Rs 500. This DD should be taken in the name of, “The Secretary, Selection Committee, DME, Kilpauk”, then followed by the next process of admission procedures. Candidates applying for private colleges should pay Rs 1000 for the application.
The application forms are free for the candidates belonging to SC and ST communities.
The first phase of counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions will be held between July 1 and July 5 for the Tamil Nadu medical colleges. The entire admission process is based on National Eligibility Test (NEET) scores.
The declaration of the rank lists are planned for the release on June 28 most probably and then the courses will begin on August 1. The official press release told the complete admission procedures will be finalized and closed on 18 of August, 2018.
