Students can use the existing bus-passes till new ones are issued

The transport corporation officials have informed that the school students can use the existing bus-passes till new ones are issued. The buses should not charge the students.
They explained that all the students studying in government schools are government-aided schools studying in the 1st to +2 are being given free bus passes every year on behalf of the transport corporations. This year also, activities are being expedited for the early issue of the free bus passes.
The activities will commence immediately after receiving the full data from the officials of the department of school education. It is planned to issue the free bus-passes within a few days after reopening. Orders have been issued by the Branch Managers of the Transport department to allow the use of the existing bus-passes.
No charges should be collected from the students who are in uniforms and have the school ID cards. In case charges are collected and complaints are received, stringent action will be taken on the erring staff.
