Applications invited for free industrial training

It has been announced that individuals interested in attending a free industrial training course in the Corporation Industrial training Institute can apply before 18th June.
As the students’ admission to the ITI courses (Industrial Training Institute) in 5 faculties will be in progress in the Chennai Metro Corporation Industrial Training Institute, interested candidates for the free training need to apply before 18th June.
Candidates with a pass in the 10th Standard can apply. Free Training will be given n 6 trades – Computer Operator, Plumber, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Electrician, and Electronic Mechanic.
Priority will be given to candidates who studied in Chennai schools and the children of the Corporation employees.
While the training is absolutely free, the trainees will also be given uniforms, bus pass, a monthly stipend of Rs. 500 during the training, and a free laptop computer.
Once the training is completed, job opportunities are given to the students completing the training in leading companies. The application is now being distributed free.
All applicants need to visit the Corporation Industrial training Institute located near the Chennai Ice House Police station at 10.00 AM on 20th June and attend the counselling session with the requisite original certificates and proofs (school transfer certificate, mark sheet certificate, caste certificate, etc.).
During the counselling, the permission to join the free training course will be given on the basis of marks, qualification, rank list, and reservation quota.
The age limit for this free training course is from 15 to 40 years of age.
