State Athlete Meet comes to an end

The State-Level Republic Day Athlete Meet that was conducted in Trichy came to an end on 20th January. The Meet that had participants from schools across Tamil Nadu was an eye opener to the talent available in the school level. Events were for boys and girls in the under-14, under-17 and under-19 categories.
In the girls� under-19 triple jump event, Rochelle Maria Macfarlane of St. Columbus Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School set a new meet record. R. Naveen from SDAT Sports Hostel in Madurai set Meet records for under-14 400 m and 600 m events.
