2nd Stage counseling for TNPSC Group-2 exams on 25th April

TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has informed that the 2nd stage counseling for filling up the vacant posts in the Group-2 cadre will be conducted on 25th April.
The announcement released by TNPSC, informs that the preliminary written examination for filling up the vacant posts in the Group-2 cadre in the state government offices was conduced on 21st August, 2016.
The interviews for the successful candidates after this written examination were conducted from 22nd January to 19th February this year.
The 1st stage of counseling for filling the 1094 vacant posts in the group-2 cadre was conducted from 19th March to 3rd April.
After the 1st stage of counseling, there were 88 vacancies in Group-2 cadre unfilled. So, TNPSC decided to conduct the 2nd stage of counseling on 25th April to fill up 45 posts out of the unfilled 88 vacancies.
During the 2nd stage counseling, the candidates are called on the basis of 1:5 (5 candidates for each vacancy) from the temporarily selected list. The details have been uploaded on the official website of TNPSC.
The candidates have already been informed by way of invitation letter, SMS, and e-mail individually.
In case the candidates called for the 2nd stage counseling fail to turn up, the candidates will not be given a chance to participated in the counseling afterwards.
