IITs across India acquire most space in top 10 list of engineering colleges

Over 8 Indian Institutes of Technology have grabbed positions in the list of top 10 engineering institutes, according to final reports of India Rankings 2018.
Once again, IIT-Madras has retained its position as the best engineering institute in India. IIT-Bombay and Delhi both of which were in 4th position last year are now queued next to IIT-M. Anna University in Chennai has obtained position 8, and Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai has acquired 10th place. These two were the only 2 other engineering institutes to have acquired positions in the top 10 list.
The ranking was done by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) where over 3,954 institutes were assessed based on 9 different parameters.
