CBSE announces reexamination of 2 subjects for 10th and 12th Standard

Regarding the issue of the question papers of CBSE leaking out, CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education) has ordered reexaminations for the 12th Standard Economics and 10th Standard Mathematics.
CBSE examinations commenced on 5th March and are in progress. Mathematics examination for the 10th Standard students was held today.
The students observed that the question paper was rather easy. However, there was a complaint that this question got leaked through WhatsApp.
Similarly, there was a complaint that the Economics Question paper conducted on Monday (26th March) for the 12th Standard also got leaked through WhatsApp.
Initially, CBSE had refuted the news about the leakage of above 2 question papers. However, CBSE announced today that it is set to organize a reexamination for these 2 subjects.
In this regard, in a statement released on the official website of CBSE, it is mentioned the reexaminations are scheduled to be conducted for the subject of Mathematics for the 10th Standard and for Economics for the 12th Standard.
The dates of the examinations and other details will be announced later.
It is worth noting that this decision for reexamination has been taken by CBSE in the situation when there have been rampant complaints regarding the CBSE question papers leaking out through WhatsApp.
