CBSE Public Exams for 10th and +2 from today (5th March)

The Public Examinations for the students studying 10th Standard and +2 under the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) syllabus throughout the country commences today (Monday, 5th March).
27 Lakhs students are writing these public examinations. The Public Examinations for 10th Standard (CBSE) get completed on 4th April. The Public Examinations for the +2 candidates get completed on 13th April.
1564 examinations centres have been set up for 10th Standard candidates. 1252 examination centres have been set up for the +2 candidates.
16.38 lakhs students are writing the 10th Standard CBSE Public Examinations including 6.71 lakhs girl students. In the Chennai Region which covers 5 states, 1.94 lakhs students are writing the CBSE Public Examinations.
11.86 lakhs candidates are writing the +2 CBSE Public Examinations including 4.95 lakhs of girl students. 71000 candidates are writing from the Chennai Region.
In the CBSE Public Examination Centres set up in the Gulf Countries, 15700 candidates are writing the CBSE Public Examinations.
